This is the only track the three piece rock project 'Savelight' ever wrote and recorded together.
Inspired by drunken acoustic jams, Bob with his dirty london basement and Jimmy Eat World playing incessantly, we thought this song turned out pretty good.
The opening dialogue is from the movie 'Syriana'.
The children who speak in the chorus is a combination of my younger sisters and cousins who happened to be around my house while I was recording vocals. I didn't want to yell the chorus myself and felt that it would work better if the kids did it with me.

lyrics
Yes, everything is getting smaller,
yet everyone still expands.
But that's no excuse for drowning everyone
in higher hills of your so called freedom.
We'd be doing better than this!
We'd be feeling better than this!
We could be better than this!
We should know better than this!
